Caveman, 2022

Filmed in collaboration with indigenous photographer Ronnie Bahari, this work was shot in several caves in the Kinta Valley, Perak, Malaysia.

The video explores sites containing ancient drawings made with charcoal and red pigment, believed to be hundreds or even thousands of years old. Moving through these hidden and lesser-known spaces, the work reflects on memory, history, and the traces left behind by earlier human presence.
